KNYSNA NEWS FLASH - The Western Cape Health Department has given its assurance that it is impossible that New Horizon Clinic's patients' confidential records would be leaked to the public.
The government's assurance follows a burglary at the public clinic on Monday, July 2.
The suspects stole two flat-screen television sets as well as a computer with its hard drive.
All the patients' confidential records were kept on this computer's database, and this fact caused a stir amongst several community members concerned about the possibility that the information could be disclosed to the community.
