Rebel 4x4 challenge tests the nerves

SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - The Rebel 4x4 club hosted a 4x4 challenge at Great Brak River on 2 June.

Drivers in Standard class, Modified class and Extreme class competed against each other and obstacles not only tested driver capabilities, but also spectators' nerves.

Edrick Bruwer tested the strength of the men, when they had to roll him back up after taking a roll. Arjan Wierenga retired early with the break of the day and Attie de Klerk was announced driver of the day for his role in enthralling the crowd with his driving abilities.

Results:
Standard Class

1. Jaco Kriel; 2. Burt van der Walt; 3. Anton Meintjies; 4. PJ Dugmore; 5. Francois Dorfling; 6. R van Deventer.

Modifieds

1. Dwayne Erasmus; 2. Attie de Klerk; 3. Zak Vorster; 4. Francois du Toit; 5. Elizabeth Clasquin.

Extreme Class
