Expect royal treatment at Knysna Auto Centre
Owners of Knysna Auto Centre, Surette and Patrick Myburgh, and their well-qualified staff take their slogan, Our Customer is King very seriously, and as a result offer outstanding services at affordable rates.
SOUTHERN CAPE BUSINESS NEWS - "At Knysna Auto Centre service is absolutely everything," said owner, Patrick Myburgh. Knysna Auto Centre in Waterfront Drive was established a year ago with the vision of incorporating all the different motoring services, be it mechanical work, panel-beating or valet services, while ensuring that the client is king.

Myburgh said that the first division established within Knysna Auto Centre was the panel-beating division, and explained further that Knysna Auto Centre was awarded insurance-accreditation, which now makes the centre the third company to receive this valued accreditation in Knysna. "Santam Insurance is one of the many insurance companies which has relied on our panel-beating expertise over the past year, and they have had only good things to say," he said. Myburgh explained that, in a small town like Knysna, service was paramount.

"As a large percentage of our business is generated by referrals from happy clients, we can only offer our clients the very best. If we did not have the excellent work ethic that we have, we would definitely not be as busy and as popular as we are."

"The quality of their paintwork and valets are very good and meet the high standard which we expect from our service providers," added Autolink manager, Andre Haggard.

Knysna Auto Centre started a comprehensive valet centre in January this year and this has proven itself to be a very popular service. "Each client's needs are assessed thoroughly before we begin with any work on their vehicle. I can guarantee you that our valet service is one of the best. We do a thorough job; one vehicle's valet takes two full days to complete," he explained.

"The management and staff at Knysna Auto Centre are always friendly and professional and are willing to walk the extra mile," said Chris Grunlingh, sales manager at Knysna Toyota. Although a mechanical service was never the focus of the business, the rapid growth of Knysna Auto Centre soon necessitated the establishment of a mechanical division. "At R250 per hour, our prices are much lower than those of our competitors. That definitely does not mean that we take our time in servicing and/or fixing an identified problem; it just means that our clients' needs are put first," guaranteed Myburgh and added, "We pride ourselves on a quick turnaround time."

He added that the management and staff of Knysna Auto Centre take the business slogan, 'Our Client is King' very seriously, "and that is why all our staff members are handpicked for their expertise in their field". Myburgh concluded, "I know that female car owners often feel as if they are having the wool pulled over their eyes, but I can guarantee them that here at Knysna Auto Centre, we take special care of their needs, and ensure that they pay only for what is necessary."
Knysna Auto Centre can be reached on 044 382 3094.

Within one year, Knysna Auto Centre (just off Waterfront Drive) has grown into a recognised insurance-accredited panel-beating centre and an efficient mechanical workshop that also boasts an excellent vehicle valet division.
