Woman raped over the weekend

KNYSNA NEWS FLASH - A young Knysna woman was raped in her home during the early hours of Sunday, May 13.
"Information available indicates that an unknown man entered a flat at Upper Old Place in Knysna through a window. The suspect tied the hands and feet of the 22-year-old victim with electrical cords before raping her," explained Constable Chris Spies, Knysna SAPS liaison official.
The suspect fled the scene taking a flat screen television set and wine with him.
No arrests have yet been made and Spies is asking anyone with information to contact the investigation officer, Constable Delores Witbooi at 044 803 4621 or 073 823 2949.
