Sailing season opens with cruise
The Knysna Yacht Club (KYC), one of the oldest clubs in South Africa, celebrated the start of the competitive sailing season with an opening cruise this weekend. In sunny weather with just the perfect wind blowing, the sailing season was declared open on Saturday, August 27. While the turnout of those who took to the water was excellent, also present were some important visitors.
