Two trophy sailing competions completed
Sunday's sailing on Island Lake for the members of George Lakes Yacht Club (GLYC) were the final races for the Woodwise Trophy (senior fleet) and the De Klerk Trophy (junior fleet). However, due to a big regatta taking place in Hermanus (SAS Western Cape grand slam), many of the GLYC top sailors were away and attendance was down as a result. The junior fleet only had a sole Tera Sport sailing (Marc Franclin). The senior fleet had eight boats, mostly Lasers plus a Sonnet and a Hobie 14.
