With the Pink Loerie Mardi Gras & Arts Festival making its annual arrival on the Garden Route this past weekend, most of the Sedgefield residents approached for comment seemed to be looking forward to the festivities. When visiting the town on Thursday, April 27, the Knysna-Plett Herald (KPH) got some mixed responses from residents, ranging from people who completely support the festival and couldn't wait for the parade on Saturday, April 29 in Knysna – who were the majority – to those who are either entirely opposed to the festival or don’t even know what it is about.
