The Knysna Sea Cadet Unit, Training Ship Knysna, held their stand-down and prize-giving parade on Saturday, November 21. The inspecting officer was the executive mayor of Knysna, Councillor Georlene Wolmarans, who was accompanied by the speaker of the council, Councillor Eleanor Bouw-Spies. Also present was the Roman Catholic priest, Father Brian Williams, who read from the scripture and led the parade in prayer at the commencement of the formalities.
