Help girls take back their power
MADaboutART, a Knysna-based NPO, hosted an empowerment day for girls at their community care centre in Dam-se-Bos South, Nekkies on Saturday, February 4. This event was part of a broader campaign themed “Taking back the power”, run in conjunction with the African Women’s Development Fund, which aims to empower girls between the ages of 11 and 17.
