Police will be investigating the malicious multistabbing of a donkey in Concordia – which is a criminal and prosecutable offence. On Friday, March 17, a Knysna-Plett Herald photographer joined the Knysna Animal Welfare Society (KAWS) in Concordia to investigate reports of a donkey having been stabbed 12 times. KAWS manager of KAWS Annelien Kitley said a member of the public phoned and told them about the donkey – and on Friday when they went to the location they found the animal tied to a tree.
