Knysna
One of the oldest family-run businesses in South Africa and an institution in Knysna, Geo Parkes & Sons, hosted a tree planting ceremony at Memorial Square on Friday, February 17 – as part of celebrating 125 years in timber this month. This occasion marked the first planting of a hundred trees that will eventually grace Knysna as a gift from the Parkes family to celebrate their long history and association with the town.
