From the ashes of the fire that has been ravaging the Harkerville area – between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay – over the past week, has risen a community of heroes. This is the sentiment of landowners affected by the wildfire, which started on Wednesday, January 18 and threatened several properties in the area, as they witnessed the overwhelming response from neighbours who jumped in to lend a helping hand.
