The gallery was packed with members of the public this morning to welcome in the new councillors, see them sign their pledge and say their oaths. Then came the time for the three top positions to be announced. New executive mayor is Eleanore Bouw-Spies, deputy mayor is Peter Myers and speaker is Georlene Wolmarans.
