Burning tyres and other objects on the N2 outside Knysna again caused the closure of the N2 highway at Hlalani/Nekkies. Over the last couple of months Hlalani residents have almost on a monthly basis blocked traffic from going into and out of Knysna, to address municipal housing issues. On Friday, June 17 they did it again, but this time visibly with the help of teenagers to set the tyres and other objects alight.
