Fireman injured while battling blaze

PLETTENBERG BAY NEWSFLASH - A Plettenberg Bay volunteer firefighter was seriously injured while battling a blaze in Harkerville on September 1, 2017.

Ollie Olivier, a member of a local fire management unit (FMU), was busy attending to a structural fire when a portion of a wall collapsed on him. 

He was transferred to a Mossel Bay Hospital where he is receiving treatment for head injuries and fractures to several vertebrae in his neck.
